Job description
LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our clients Tampa office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of law firm experience with a strong background in civil defense litigation .

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of litigation support from case inception through trial
Obtain, organize, review, summarize, and produce case documents
Assist with document production and prepare requests for medical, employment, and other relevant records
Review medical records and prepare medical chronologies and narrative summaries
Manage and maintain case databases, including Summation
Assist with discovery investigations and prepare discovery requests and responses
Prepare deposition indexes and exhibits
Communicate with witnesses, investigators, experts, and other parties
Coordinate depositions, mediations, conferences, and other case-related events
Assist attorneys with case preparation and ensure necessary materials are available
Prepare witness and exhibit disclosures
Prepare trial notebooks, trial exhibits, and demonstrative aids
Create PowerPoint presentations for mediations and trials
Attend depositions, mediations, and trials as needed
Coordinate and supervise trial teams
Assist with training new hires and provide coverage for other paralegals as needed
Maintain accurate time records in accordance with firm and client guidelines
Qualifications
xzgxqkn 5+ years of law firm experience
Strong civil defense litigation experience required
Experience with case management, discovery, document production, and trial preparation
Experience working with State and Federal courts
Experience reviewing medical records and preparing medical chronologies
A.S. degree in Paralegal Studies with a paralegal certificate, B.A. in Paralegal Studies or another field, or equivalent experience
