We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager who's ready to grow their technical skills, gain project management experience, and work alongside a team that values collaboration, accountability, and doing things the right way.What You'll DoSupport Project SuccessPartner with Project Managers to deliver accurate, high-quality land development projectsHelp keep projects on track by supporting schedules, budgets, and overall performanceDesign & Technical WorkUse AutoCAD Civil 3D to design:Grading and erosion control plansWater, sewer, and stormwater systemsApply survey data and develop a strong understanding of how it impacts designCoordinate & CommunicateWork with clients and regulatory agencies to move projects through approvalsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project deliveryDocumentation & Problem SolvingPrepare plans, reports, specifications, and construction documentsAssist with permitting and agency coordinationIdentify challenges, gather information, and help develop practical solutionsWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited)2+ years of land development experienceWorking knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityClear communication skills and a team-oriented mindsetPreferred QualificationsNorth Carolina EI (Engineer-in-Training) registrationExperience with Ajera or similar project management softwareFamiliarity with permitting processes and agency coordinationWhy FEI?Hands-on experience with real projects and real responsibilityA supportive team environment focused on growth and developmentExposure to a wide range of land development workConsistent schedule: Mon–Thu: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Fri: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AMWhat Success Looks LikeDelivering accurate, high-quality workBuilding strong relationships with teammates and clientsGrowing your technical and project management skillsContributing to efficient, well-run projectsAdditional InformationApplicants must be authorized to work full-time in the U.S.FEI does not provide visa sponsorship at this timeDirect applicants only—no recruiter submissionsIf you're ready to grow your skills, take on more responsibility, and be part of meaningful projects, we'd like to hear from you.
