The City of Wilsonville is looking for an experienced, collaborative engineer to join our Engineering Division. This recruitment may be filled at either the Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer level, depending on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated expertise. At Wilsonville, engineers don't just review plans or manage projects from behind a desk. They play a direct role in shaping the community by leading transportation, water, wastewater, stormwater, and other public infrastructure projects that residents use every day. From concept development and design through construction and project closeout, you'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects that make a lasting difference.
The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative team that values innovation, problem-solving, and professional growth. Depending on experience, the selected engineer may serve as a project manager on complex capital improvement projects, coordinate consultants and contractors, review public and private development proposals, prepare technical analyses and recommendations, and present information to stakeholders, advisory bodies, and City leadership. Senior-level candidates may also lead complex multi-agency initiatives, mentor junior staff, and help advance strategic engineering priorities for the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, professional engineer registration, and experience managing engineering projects. Placement as a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer will be determined based on the candidate's experience, technical expertise, project management capabilities, and demonstrated leadership skills.
