Civil Engineer – Senior TechnicalOur growth offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Engineer to oversee land development projects from start to finish. This role requires direct project execution, and ensure high-quality deliverables within scope, budget, and timeline.A successful candidate in this role will have 8+ years of experience as a civil engineer with a PE license in the state they will be working out of. This individual will have experience with leadership and mentoring junior staff members.BL works on fast-paced, exciting projects for national retail clients. We welcome motivated individuals to join us as an Employee Owner and be a part of our growing success.Responsibilities Include:Site LayoutGrading and Earthwork calculationsStorm Water Management Design and PermittingErosion and Sedimentation Control Design and PermittingPreparation/Submission of Local Land Development PermitsQuality AssuranceRequired Experience:8 years of civil or utility-related engineering experiencePE LicenseSite layout, grading, storm water and erosion control design expertiseCivil-related utility design expertiseTrenchless technology design expertiseConstruction/constructability expertise as it relates to production of design drawings and resolution of field issuesFoundation/geotechnical experience and understandingSpecification writingExcellent communication skillsBL Companies is 100% employee owned, giving us a competitive edge and a unique distinction from most other companies.
