Civil Litigation Attorney
Location: Livingston, NJ (Remote or Hybrid Available)
Experience: 3+ Years Preferred; All Experience Levels Considered
Salary Range: $100,000–$275,000+ depending on level and experience
Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 100 law firm , is seeking Civil Litigation Attorneys to join its Livingston, New Jersey office. The firm has multiple openings across its defense litigation practices and is interested in attorneys with experience spanning employment, complex commercial litigation, professional liability, toxic tort, products liability, general liability, and related civil defense matters .
What You'll Work On:
Handle a diverse range of civil defense litigation matters
Manage cases through various stages of litigation
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive filings
Conduct legal research and manage written discovery
Take and defend depositions
Develop case strategy alongside experienced litigators
Prepare for and appear at hearings and other court proceedings
Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials
Work directly with clients throughout the litigation process
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred, with all experience levels considered
Defense litigation experience in one or more areas, including: Employment
Complex commercial litigation
Professional liability
Toxic tort
Products liability
General liability
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent oral advocacy and persuasive communication abilities
Ability to handle assignments with minimal supervision
Strong academic credentials
Trial experience preferred, but not required
Active New Jersey Bar admission required
Bonus for PA bar admission

Compensation & Benefits:
Associates: $100,000–$165,000
Senior Counsel / Of Counsel: $140,000–$215,000
Partners: $190,000–$275,000+
