(40%)Answer the Risk Management toll free phone line, return and transfer telephone calls to appropriate parties. Answer questions from claimants and providers. (30%)File state reports (First report of injuries {FROI's}), EDI. (15%)Approve all new vendors and make vendor address changes. (5%)Pick up and sort department checks three times per week. (5%)Communicate new claims to our TPA where appropriate. (2%)Run wage statements for adjusters. (1%)Sort, index and determine path for medical bills in question. (1%)Provide general support to adjusters for numerous functions. (1%)Job QualificationsAbility to read and interpret data.Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.Excellent phone call handling skills.Customer service oriented and works well in a team environment.Basic working knowledge of Microsoft office programs and ability to type 40 wpm.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle confrontational situations in a mature and professional manner.Minimal clerical experience.Knowledge of Workers' Comp and/or General Liability a plus.Education/ExperienceHigh school graduate required.
