Claims Operations AssistantMulti-state commercial insurance carrier is seeking a Claims Operations Assistant for a position based in their Vancouver, WA office. This is an entry-level position which will provide administrative support to the Claims Technicians and office management.Key Accountabilities/Deliverables:Answers multi-line phone systemTakes messages and distributes them efficiently and appropriatelyClarifies and answers customer requests for information.Explains the claim reporting process to customers.Documents loss reportsEnters data pursuant to claim reportsOrganizes claim filesProcesses paymentsProvides additional general administrative assistance to claims technicians, as well as senior staff membersTechnical Knowledge and Understanding:Proficient data entry skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookPrior claims experience is helpfulExperience:High School diploma is required, some college preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to work in a team environment and be flexible to daily changing needs and job dutiesStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesEffective time managementAbility to learn database applications related to claims servicesBilingual English/Spanish candidates preferredThe expected pay range for the role is $42,000 - $45,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and experiences. The disclosed pay range estimate may also be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over work authorization sponsorship now or in the future for this position.
