Key Responsibilities
Specialized Freight Transport: Operate Class A commercial tractor-trailers handling multi-trailer combinations, open-deck, stepdeck, flatbed towing, and gooseneck setups across regional lanes.
Load Securement & Compliance: Ensure all cargo is properly chained, strapped, and secured while strictly adhering to state DOT weight and route regulations.
Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough DOT safety checks on tractors, trailers, hitch/coupling mechanisms, hydraulic/winch systems, and load tie-downs.
Dispatch & Route Coordination: Maintain reliable communication with terminal dispatchers to ensure timely, safe deliveries.
Candidate Requirements (Mandatory)
License & Endorsements: Valid Class A CDL with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a Mandatory Doubles & Triples (T) Endorsement .
Certifications: Active DOT Medical Card .
Preferred Experience: Experience in flatbed towing, stepdeck, and gooseneck equipment preferred (willing to train motivated, T-endorsed drivers eager to learn specialized open-deck hauling!) .
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of verified commercial driving experience preferred.
Work Ethic: Strong commitment to DOT safety standards, equipment care, and professional attendance.
