Cleanroom Assembler IIAs a Cleanroom Assembler II, you will contribute to a collaborative team manufacturing micro electrical/mechanical pressure sensing devices in a cleanroom environment. You will balance and prioritize a variety of tasks and competing priorities maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and on time delivery.Foundational skills for success in this role include dexterity, visual acuity, excellent organizational and time management skills, effective prioritizing to meet deadlines, adaptability, collaboration, and exceptional communication. We value self-direction and deep commitment to individual and team success.What you will do:Follow technical specifications and detailed assembly instructions to produce a consistent, high-quality product.Perform the processes necessary for fabricating and producing micro-electromechanical systems, including photolithography, cap etch, saw-dice, lot code, electrical testing, and microscope inspection in a cleanroom environment.Take ownership for accuracy of processes and resulting costs.Work with delicate or fragile materials, proficient in wafer handling.Become a subject matter expert in shop processes including Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, and calibration requirements.Accurately read and follow procedures, routing, and other work instructions.Focus on building parts that meet customer expectations & deadlines and owning the quality of your work.Participate in LEAN initiatives, cost reduction, scrap reduction, process improvement, etc.Effectively plan and prioritize work to meet production schedules.Maintain continuing education, upskilling, and special process certification requirements.Develop subject matter expert knowledge of the end use for completed products and the customers that purchase them.Champion safety and comply with all safety protocols including hazardous waste disposal programs and daily 5S and cleaning.Mentor and assist in development of less experienced assemblers sharing knowledge and best practices.Collaborate with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge, or resolve problems related to business issues.Communicate complex technical terminology orally and in writing.Stand for up to 8 hours.Wear PPE including a smock, hood, facemask, and gloves.Qualifications you must have:Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.1+ year(s) of experience in production or lab environments with material and chemical processes, and cleanroom processes.1+ years of experience operating silicon wafer processing equipment.Qualifications we prefer:Computer proficiency, SAP and Auto-time experience.Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities in a dynamic environment.Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of operators, engineers and technicians.Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early, and concisely with individuals at all organizational levels to mitigate risk and resolve challenges.Ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges.Collins Enterprise Values including Safety | Trust | Accountability | Respect | Collaboration | Innovation.Schedule:1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3PMWhat we offer:BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceThree weeks of vacation for newly hired employeesGenerous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds and separate employer retirement contribution, including a Lifetime Income Strategy optionTuition reimbursement programStudent Loan Repayment ProgramLife insurance and disability coverageOptional coverages you can buy pet insurance, home and auto insurance, additional life and accident insurance, critical illness insurance, group legal, ID theft protectionBirth, adoption, parental leave benefitsOvia Health, fertility, and family planningAdoption AssistanceAutism BenefitEmployee Assistance Plan, including up to 10 free counseling sessionsHealthy You Incentives, wellness rewards programDoctor on Demand, virtual doctor visitsBright Horizons, child and elder care servicesTeladoc Medical Experts, second opinion programAnd more!The salary range for this role is $38,841 - $72,849. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
