Job description

Carolina Components Group Cleanroom TechnicianSummary: Carolina Components Group Cleanroom Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging single-use assemblies using various assembly equipment, tools, and test equipment, per approved product design drawings, batch assembly records, and associated procedures within a controlled environment assembly setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Able to Understand, Retain, and effectively apply On the Job training instruction.Consistently follow processes and procedures to operate compliantly within a controlled environmental manufacturing space.Read and Understand Assembly drawing and assembly instructions to correctly and efficiently assemble products.Distinguish differences in sub-component parts based on part number and visual inspection.Perform in-process inspections per applicable specifications or work orders, including inspection of input and output materials, packaging integrity.Performs labeling and packaging activitiesConsistently adhere to assembly methodology of accept / reject criterionConsistently comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements of the Carolina Components Quality SystemInteract with Quality Assurance personnel to ensure product quality and address any non-conformity detectedReport problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Team Lead and or SupervisorUtilize approved tools and fixtures as required in a safe and efficient wayComplete line clearance, scrap records, training records, and other documentation as requiredMaintain batch records for traceability purposes in accordance with company documented standardsMaintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functionsOther duties as assigned by the Supervisor and or Team LeadEssential FunctionsAbility to read and comprehend procedures written in EnglishAbility to complete paperwork accurately in EnglishAbility to work safely around chemicals and equipmentAbility to stand or sit for long periods of timeAbility to do repetitive work, requiring strong dexterity and hand/eye coordinationAbility to lift up to 40 lbsDesired Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious Work experience within a controlled environmental space preferredPrevious assembly experience preferredAbility to lift up to 40 lbsWork Environment:Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment and throughout a heated manufacturing and warehouse facilityThe noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
