Clerical Assistant 2The PA Human Relations Commission (PHRC) is looking for an individual who will thrive in a fast-paced office environment and is organized, self-motivated and has a welcome attitude. We have an immediate opening for a Clerical Assistant 2 to provide administrative and clerical support within our Harrisburg regional office of PHRC. If you have clerical experience and you would like a challenging and rewarding career that can make a positive difference in the lives of others, apply today!Description Of WorkThis position provides essential support to administrative, supervisory, legal, and investigative staff to help advance the mission of the agency.As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:Start the investigation process for complaints using the required software and case management toolsPrepare and organize case file folders for staff useAssist visitors by addressing complaints and guiding them to the appropriate resourcesSchedule and reschedule appointments as assignedOperate office equipment and maintain basic supply levelsMaintain an orderly and efficient office environmentInterested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.Work Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
