Clerical Assistant 2The Department of Corrections is seeking a Clerical Assistant 2 who enjoys keeping office operations organized and on track. In this role, you will support staff at SCI Cambridge Springs by handling calls, preparing documents, and keeping daily tasks moving smoothly. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:Phone Support: Answer, make, and direct calls while recording and distributing messagesMail Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail and packagesDocument Processing: Type, review, correct, and distribute documents and correspondenceScheduling Assistance: Organize appointments, meetings, and video conferences; distribute meeting minutesRecord Maintenance: Maintain filing systems, databases, reports, and spreadsheetsOffice Coordination: Compile office activity records, check data, track supplies, and support general office tasksWork Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.We offer a competitive salary and state benefits including health insurance, dental, vision as well as life insurance coverage. We also have an excellent vacation, sick and holiday package as well as a retirement plan.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831.00 (before taxes).You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
