Job description
Delivery Truck DriverEducation/Certification Required: High school graduate or GED certificate. Must have State of Texas Class C Drivers License and be insurable with the District. TECHNOLOGY PROFICIENCY: LEVEL 1 - BASIC (use of) Basic computer operations Basic word processing Basic data entry Basic data archiving Basic e-mailExperience Required: Delivery truck driver and familiarity with personal computer systems.Function Performs varied duties associated with receiving equipment, materials and supplies such as loading trucks, unpacking and checking goods against purchase order and packing list, preparing receiving records, driving delivery truck and forklift when required.Reports To: Central Receiving ManagerResponsibilities:Relates positively to othersCommunicates effectively in oral and written formMust have State of Texas Class C Drivers License and be insurable with the DistrictLoad/ off load trucks, accept and sign for goodsNotifies supervisor of any discrepancy or difficultyUnpacks, checks goods against purchase order and prepares receiving records in accordance with established proceduresAffixes serially numbered property tags to capital equipment and records tag numbers on receiving record and Fixed Asset Equipment Record ledgerAssist in assembly and delivery of furniture and other duties as assignedWorking Conditions: Ability to receive information and/or instruction from internal/external customers through spoken expression. Ability to manipulate tools/equipment/keyboards. Ability to convey information and/or instruction to internal/external customers through spoken expression. Ability to perform work while standing and/or walking for extended periods, up to eight (8) hours a day. Ability to see detailed information, naturally or with correction.Salary: AUX/604: $15.35 minimum/hour (individual salary calculation is based on applicable experience)Days: 226
