ABOUT THE ROLE
Byte&Kite is a digital marketing agency helping clients across a range of industries grow through effective digital marketing. As a Client Account Manager, you will own a portfolio of retained client relationships, managing day-to-day communication, retention, growth opportunities and escalations. You will work closely with delivery teams to align client expectations with project scope, priorities and available capacity.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own retention and growth across a portfolio of client accounts
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and run regular business reviews
Manage client expectations, escalations and scope changes proactively
Identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing accounts
Work closely with delivery teams to keep projects aligned with agreed scope and priorities
Track account health and forecast renewals, including accounts at risk
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
3+ years of account management experience, ideally in an agency or professional services environment
Proven experience managing multiple client relationships and retaining accounts
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Demonstrable experience managing scope creep and competing client priorities
Comfortable handling difficult client situations and delivering challenging news early
Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for account growth
Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
NICE TO HAVE
Marketing agency experience; experience with digital marketing services; contract negotiation experience; familiarity with CRM and project management tools; and experience working with B2B clients.
