Clin Apps Spec - req1726

nOVERVIEW

nThis position is the project manager for the final implementation for clinical applications training of a CMSU modality with the customers. After the sales and installation is complete, the Clinical Applications Specialist takes charge of the process, and works with the doctors, nurses, and technologists at each facility to maximize their proficiency and satisfaction with the CMSU products they have purchased. This position plays a critical role in gaining, maintaining, and increasing customer satisfaction with our products and services.

nRESPONSIBILITIES

nnnBe the project manager for the final step in the implementation of a specific CMSU diagnostic imaging modality at each location.

n

nnDevelop the training plan and manage the training process and presentation for the doctors, nurses, and technologists at each location to assure their best utilization of CMSU products and services.

n

nnConsult with physicians and clinicians regarding best clinical practices (e.g., work flow, image acquisition, protocols, image quality, etc) to maximize each customer's satisfaction with CMSU products and services.

n

nnDetermine whether client needs additional training or development and preparing additional training as determined by need.

n

nnMaintain contact as the key clinical contact person for CMSU at each facility for follow-up and additional training needs.

n

nnComplete site reports documenting the daily training details.

n

nnProvide Pre/Post Communications for both internal and external customers.

n

nnMaintain technical and clinical proficiency.

n

nnDiagnose and resolve problems affecting system performance and image quality.

n

nnEscalate any unresolved issues pertaining to system performance and image quality.

n

nnWork with service engineers as needed.

n

nnComplete Alerts and PCRs when applicable.

n

nnProvide mid-week update to Applications Management and local Canon Team.

n

n nQUALIFICATIONS

nnnExcellent project management skills.

n

nnExcellent verbal communication skills.

n

nnExcellent written communications skills.

n

nnExcellent presentation/platform skills.

n

nnPrevious teaching experience a plus.

n

nnBased on Modality Supported: (XR) ARRT RT(R); (VL) ARRT RT(R) -Minimum Required, VI, CV or CI - Preferred; (MR) ARRT; (CT) ARRT RT(R); (PETCT) AART (CT) and Either ARRT (N) or CNMT.

n

nnMust maintain active motor vehicle/driver's license from the state where the specialist resides.

n

nn2 Year / associate's degree - Radiologic Technologist in the specific modality XR/VL

n

nnARRT RT(R) required.

n

nn5 years clinical experience at a hospital or imaging center required.

n

nnPrevious applications experience and Canon Medical equipment is a plus.

n

nnAbility to travel heavily and reside close to a major airport. Nationwide travel is very heavy 90%+ and required.

n

nnMust maintain active motor vehicle driver's license from the state where the employee resides.

n

nnPay Information: Min Salary of $80,100 to Max Salary of $129,000 (annual equivalency); DOE
