Administrative Assistant/Medical ReceptionistFounded as Boulder Hospice in 1976, TRU Community Care is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving Boulder, Denver, and surrounding counties. With a mission to affirm life at every step of the journey with illness and loss, TRU provides a continuum of care through TRU Hospice, TRU PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), TRU Palliative Care, TRU Grief Services, and Landmark Memory Care.Position: Administrative Assistant/Medical Receptionist Pay: $18.30 to $22.24 per hour Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am to 4:30pm Location: Lafayette, COJOB SUMMARY The PACE Clinic Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clinical support to the PACE clinic staff in the daily operations of the clinic. Responsibilities include supporting participant flow, escorting participants to and from exam rooms, preparing and stocking exam rooms, scheduling clinic appointments, answering clinic phone lines, assisting with check-in and check-out, maintaining clinic supplies, and completing clerical duties. The Administrative Assistant works closely with nursing, medical providers, and the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to support participant needs and ensure efficient clinic operations.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESSupports the daily operations of the PACE clinic and assists with participant flow throughout the day.Escorts participants to and from the day room and clinic exam rooms for scheduled appointments.Schedules clinic appointments and assists with participant check-in and check-out.Answers clinic phone lines, takes messages, and directs calls to the appropriate staff.Sends orders and appointment reminders by fax and completes follow-up calls as needed.Prepares exam rooms for nursing and medical providers and ensures rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies and materials.Monitors clinic supply inventory, prepares re-order lists, and assists with ordering, receiving, and organizing supplies.Performs filing, clerical, and documentation duties as assigned, including appropriate documentation in the medical record.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS2 years of experience in a field such as Administrative Support, Customer Service, Receptionist, or similar required.Knowledge of health care delivery systems, regulations, quality assurance and medical and non-medical needs of the elderly preferred.Good computer skills required including MS Word and Excel, and proficiency with patient emergency call systems preferred.Ability to convey a positive and professional image to staff, PACE participants and the general public.Must successfully pass agency required background checks and drug screeningTRU's Benefits (Eligibility Varies by Position/Status):Paid Vacation time401(k) with matchHealth, dental, vision & life insuranceFSA & HSA availablePaid orientationPaid trainingPSLF Eligible EmployerReferral & signing bonuses (if applicable)
