Job description

Clinic CoordinatorThis position is part-time only and located in Anchorage, AK. $20 per hour. 10-15 hours a week on average. Will include evenings and weekends. Schedule posted over a month in advance.The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for providing quality customer service and interacting with clients to provide information in response to inquiries about services. Additional duties include but are not limited to, faxing, scanning, copying and mailing and emailing of reports, letters and any other IME related documents.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivers quality customer service from initial request for service until completion of end productRun day to day operations to include organization of medical records and/or paperwork needed processed for the day.Greet claimants and maintain and process paperwork completion. Chaperone exams, clean exam rooms, document exam info into Unity, make sure providers have whatever they need throughout the day.Adheres to client protocols and jurisdictional regulations including appropriate documentation of sameContacts appropriate agencies for the purpose of verifying informationHandles incoming and outgoing calls effectively and efficiently meeting client standards/protocolsSufficient understanding and knowledge of process and product to monitor and address customer concerns appropriatelyOperates company software and equipmentEnters data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information into system via keyboardDemonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task without compromising extreme attention to detailCommunicates using correct English, spelling, grammar, and punctuationAbility to understand and follow oral and written instructions while adhering to prescribed departmental routinesProficiency with imaging/scanning documentsMaintains confidentiality and discretion as a general ruleWorks effectively as a team contributor on all assignmentsInteracts professionally with other employees as well as clientsHas a clear and concise understanding, and adheres to, guidelines as they relate to HIPAA, Conflict of Interest, and EthicsKey Competencies/Skills/AbilitiesHS Diploma or equivalentProficiency with MS Office SuiteBi-Lingual-A plusExcellent communication skills-verbal and writtenAbility to organize and prioritize work effectivelyAbility to accept and apply constructive feedbackBackground & ExperienceHS Diploma or equivalentProficiency with MS Office Suite and ExcelPhysical RequirementsAbility to remain in a stationary position for long periods of timeAbility to speak and hearManual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculatorThe employee may be required to walkThe ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
