Job description
Mississippi Sports Medicine is hiring a clinic float staff nurse. This position will provide high-quality care to patients seen within the clinic. The clinic float nurse is responsible for floating to assigned physician clinics when the group is short‑staffed.
Location: 1325 E Fortification St, Jackson, MS 39202, USA
Responsibilities
Full‑time position: Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am‑5:00 pm
Maintains competency in multiple orthopedic sub‑specialty areas
Assists groups, within the clinics, as needed
Prepares medicines according to physician request
Performs dressing changes and staple/suture removal
Records appropriate clinical notes and maintains patient records
Schedules and pre‑certifies patient surgeries and procedures
Effectively communicates with patients
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certification / License: Must possess a valid Mississippi nursing license
Experience: One‑year clinical experience preferred

Education Preferences
Associates or better in Nursing.
Bachelors or better in Nursing.
Licenses & Certifications Preferences
RN Bachelor's Degree
RN Associate Degree
