Clinic Medical Assistant - Family Medicine Cle Elum - Full Time (40 hours/week)KVH is an integrated healthcare delivery system that includes 24-hour emergency care, inpatient, and outpatient hospital services through KVH Hospital. Clinics and services provided include family medicine, internal medicine, a geriatric nurse practitioner program, home health and hospice, physical therapy, orthopedics, general surgery, pediatrics, women's health, and urgent care.The Clinic Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for procedures necessary to support the provider to whom they are assigned with the goal of providing excellent patient care. Daily tasks include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, administering injections and medications, verifying and updating patient medical records for completeness, refilling medications, notifying patients of test results, and other assigned duties within the CMA scope of practice. This position may float to support other KVH clinics.What is required...Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program & currently licensed in the State of Washington.Current BLS card for Healthcare Provider (maintenance required)Previous exposure to an Electronic Medical Records systemWhat is preferred...Certified as Bilingual; English/SpanishPrevious experience working as a Medical AssistantCWCA Wound Care CertificationCertificate Program in Pediatrics from the American Association of Medical AssistantsCertificate Program in Geriatrics from the American Association of Medical AssistantsWage: Wage range currently starts at $21.91/hour and goes up to $33.22/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.
