Job description
Medical AssistantPerforms clinical and clerical tasks. Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider. Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. May administer injections, perform x-rays, perform laboratory services and perform clinical testing such as EKGs. Performs routine clerical functions based on knowledge of medical practice procedures and policies. High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or Certified Nursing Assistant Program-Preferred
