The Clinical Office Assistant is responsible for providing direct or indirect care, under the supervision of a physician based on their scope of training to patients who present with urgent, emergent or potential health problems, as well as preventive care.In this hands-on role, you'll be more than a Medical Assistant—you'll be a trusted support system for patients and providers alike. From welcoming patients and preparing them for visits to assisting with clinical procedures and coordinating care, you'll help create a positive, compassionate, and efficient healthcare experience every day. Join our team as a Clinic Office Assistant and become an essential part of a healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional patient experiences. This position will float between Deaconess Henderson Specialty Locations; Endo, Urology, Nephrology and Neurology.Education and Experience:Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.Experience preferred but not required.Certificates/Licenses:Current certification/license from one of the below:Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical AssistantsRegistered Medical Assistant- American Medical TechnologistCertified Clinical Medical Assistant- National Health career AssociationNational Certified Medical Assistant- National Center for Competency TestingNationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant- National Association for Health ProfessionalsRegistered Medical Assistant- American Allied HealthCertified Medical Assistant Clinical- American Medical Certification AssociationActive LPN license in state of employmentActive RN license in state of employmentCPR provider certification required.Shift: Days - Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pmHours: 40 per weekPay Ranges: Clinic RN- $26.04-$36.45 Clinic LPN-$22.32-$31.25 CMA/RMA-$19.14-$26.79This position is eligible for an additional premium, which is paid above the posted base rate.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
