Job description
Clinic RN, LPN, CMA or RMAThe Clinic RN, LPN, CMA or RMA is responsible for providing direct or indirect care according to the applicable state Nurse Practice Act to patients who present with urgent, emergent or potential health problems as well as preventive care. Services will include, but are not limited to, general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation of activities and patient/family education. Provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess. This clinical assistant phone position covers both Dr. Marx and Dr. Custer. Along with phones, this COA will refill medications, answer MyChart messages, perform POCT, give immunizations, and various other duties.The position is located in Evansville, Indiana at our Felstead Pediatric Clinic What You Will NeedGraduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.Experience preferred but not required.Current certification/license from one of the below:Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical AssistantsRegistered Medical Assistant- American Medical TechnologistCertified Clinical Medical Assistant- National Health career AssociationNational Certified Medical Assistant- National Center for Competency TestingNationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant- National Association for Health ProfessionalsRegistered Medical Assistant- American Allied HealthCertified Medical Assistant Clinical- American Medical Certification AssociationCPR provider certification required.Hours: 32 per week, no holidays or weekendsPay Scales: CMA/RMA: $19.14 to $26.79 Clinic LPN: $22.32 to $31.25 Clinic RN: $26.04 to $36.45Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
