Job description
Provides direct patient care in a 24/7 Cancer Care Clinic, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Responsibilities:
Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engages in professional development.
Develops and documents individualized care plans with team collaboration, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN or ADN accepted).
Active RN license required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
