nThe Department of Radiology at the University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a Diagnostic Abdominal Radiologist.

nJob Highlights:

nnn100% Diagnostic Abdominal imaging

n

nnHigh complexity cases at a tertiary care center, level 1 trauma center, and primary stroke center

n

nnTeaching medical students, residents, and fellows

n

nnCall: optional weekend day-shifts with associated compensation; no night shifts. Night call coverage consists of week-long pager call to support the on-call residents.

n

nnTime off service in exchange for weekend shifts (in addition to standard vacation) ( UVMHNMG )

n

nnFlexible schedule with work from home shifts

nn10 CME days and yearly professional expense funds

nnIn addition to UVMMC , the UVM Heath Network includes several community hospitals in Vermont and New York with an integrated PACS / EMR and ability to read studies remotely from any site

nnFacilities include state-of-the-art MRI and CT scanners with a close business and technical development relationship with a major vendor

nnDedicated Division of Abdominal imaging with experienced staff

n

nnCollaborative multidisciplinary conferences with GI, hepatobiliary, and GU clinical colleagues

n

nnDiagnostic Radiology Residency with 6 residents per year

nnMedical student education through affiliation with Larner College of Medicine at The University of Vermont.

n nPosition Details:

nnnApplicants must have completed an abdominal imaging fellowship and be ABR certified or eligible.

n

nnThe position is full time (1.0 FTE ), but consideration will be given to candidates desiring less than full-time participation.

n

nnThis is a Clinical Scholar Pathway full-time position with the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.

nAnticipated Pay Range

nThe anticipated salary ranges for this position are based on a 1.0 FTE :

nAssistant Professor: $464,000 – $562,000*

nAssociate Professor: $474,000 – $572,000*

nProfessor: $484,000 – $582,000*

nInclusion of base salary for a dually appointed physician + opt-in call and pager days

nThe referenced salary ranges reflect the combined total range based on dual employment by both the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Network. The salary ranges do not include all components of compensation. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary ranges stated herein.
