Clinical Assistant/ Foreign Medical Graduate RequiredThe Clinical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality, personalized care to patients.Responsibilities:Assist providers with day-to-day tasks, including:Taking notes during patient consultationsUpdating and maintaining accurate medical recordsMonitoring and recording patients' vital signsSupport physicians in delivering high-quality, personalized patient carePerform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient visitsTravel between various divisions and sites within the New York City area as neededPrepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness before and after visitsAssist with patient check-in/check-out procedures as neededCommunicate effectively with patients to provide instructions and answer basic questionsMaintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company compliance standardsCoordinate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of careReport any concerns regarding patient health or safety to the appropriate providerParticipate in team meetings and ongoing training to stay current with best practicesQualifications:Medical Graduation (International or National)Passed portions of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG)Excellent customer servicesExcellent oral and written communication skillsPassion to help others and ensure patients are receiving proper careTeam playerClinical KnowledgeMust be comfortable with EMR navigation- preferably e-Clinical works Computer savvy/ Excel, Adobe, Word, PowerPointGraduated from a foreign medical school$16.00-$18.00 an hourEqual Opportunity EmployerEssen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.
