Growing together.The Senior Clinical Assistant functions as an integral member of the team and is responsible for providing assistance to patients, and clinical support staff with direct and indirect patient care, ensuring smooth work and patient flow within the clinic.We are open to clinical experience, including Phlebotomy, Certified Nursing Assistants, Medical Assistants, Home Health Aides, EMT or Military Medics to join our mobile team to provide health screening exams throughout the community.Primary Responsibilities:Assist in the care of the patient by following through on Provider orders for treatmentsTaking the patients' vital signsOverseeing and participating in day-to-day clinical care of patients. Employees are involved in direct patient careComplete screenings and tests on patientsDocument in patient's EMRCollect / process lab specimensTravel will be required to cover other clinic locations, mobile unit and skilled nursing facility screeningsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalentCPR/BLS certification or ability to complete certification within 30 days of hireDriver's License and access to reliable transportationPreferred Qualifications:1+ years of experience in a healthcare settingExperience as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, EMT, Military Medical Technician or Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health AideSkills/Abilities:Ability to perform tests and treatments within the clinical scopeAbility to demonstrate knowledge of or ability to learn and apply job functionsAbility to pass FIT testing and wear N95/N99 OSHA protective mask as deemed by Optum UT in the course of work at the clinicGood communication skills, excellent phone etiquette and customer service skillsMust possess computer skills, window-based applications, and organization skillsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
