Job Summary
The Daniels School of Business at Purdue University invites applications for Clinical Associate/Full Professor position in Finance for an August 2027 start date.
About the Clinical Associate/Full Professor Position
The program has significant resources and is seeking people with an innovative, mission-driven, and collaborative mindset.
The Clinical Professor will:
Teach in multiple areas of finance at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Serve as a faculty/academic advisor for academies/clubs/programs within the area(s) of finance that are most relevant to the candidate’s experience and interests.
Assist with events and programming as needed to advance the finance program.
Qualified candidates must have:
A Ph.D. degree in Finance or related field by start date.
Experience communicating finance-related concepts to students, academic colleagues, and/or professional audiences through teaching, presentations, publications, or professional activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
Evidence of past collaborations between industry and academia
Some industry experience at financial institutions
Prior teaching, mentorship, or training experience that translates well to the classroom.
Shows initiative in maintaining up-to-date knowledge with the latest finance industry practices and relevant academic research.
