Position Summary
The Department of Surgery within the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), is seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Surgeon. This full-time position will be based at our major affiliated teaching hospitals, with an appointment at the Clinical Associate or Full Professor level.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing pediatric surgery services and will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient-centered care.
Overall duties include:
Serving as attending physician for inpatient pediatric care services
Providing consultation, treatment, and follow-up for pediatric surgery patients
Teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students
Engaging in clinical and basic science research, as well as participating in clinical trials that promote advancements in pediatric surgery

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have a MD or equivalent degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Surgery. Fellowship training in Pediatric Surgery.
