Location: Stanhope, NJ
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience
Schedule: Flexible Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days remote
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a mission-driven organization supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in Stanhope, New Jersey .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BCBA who is passionate about positive behavior support, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), staff development, and improving outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities .
The BCBA will provide clinical leadership through behavioral assessments, individualized behavior support and treatment plans, staff training and supervision, ongoing monitoring, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), skills assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and other clinical assessments as appropriate.
Develop individualized behavior support and treatment plans based on assessment findings and client needs.
Establish measurable goals and criteria for reducing challenging behaviors and developing appropriate replacement skills.
Monitor client progress and modify behavioral goals, strategies, and interventions as clinically appropriate.
Provide behavioral interventions, consultation, and individual and/or group support related to developmental disabilities.
Train and supervise staff responsible for implementing behavioral support plans.
Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct care staff.
Conduct competency assessments for RBTs and other direct care team members.
Train staff in behavior measurement, reinforcement principles, antecedent and consequence strategies, skill acquisition, and behavior-reduction techniques.
Monitor staff implementation of behavior support plans to ensure consistency and clinical effectiveness.
Participate in interdisciplinary and Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings and contribute to coordinated care planning.
Participate in client intake, admission, transition, and discharge planning.
Support screening, admission evaluations, and intake assessments.
Collaborate professionally with individuals served, families/guardians, staff, leadership, and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Ensure services comply with the BACB Ethics Code, HIPAA, payer requirements, New Jersey Department of Human Services requirements, and organizational policies .
Participate in continuing education, professional development, and required agency training.
Required Qualifications
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCBA-D credential.
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, Public Health Counseling, or a closely related field.
Demonstrated experience with Applied Behavior Analysis and/or Positive Behavior Supports .
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities .
Experience conducting behavioral assessments and developing and implementing behavior support plans.
Ability to train, supervise, and provide clinical guidance to RBTs and direct care staff.
Strong clinical judgment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid New Jersey driver’s license ; probationary licenses are not accepted.
