Clinical Director (Full-Time)

Bright Side Counseling is seeking a dedicated and passionate Clinical Director to lead our growing practice in West Columbia. The Clinical Director will provide leadership, supervision, and clinical support to our therapists while maintaining a part-time caseload (25 hours/week of client availability). Our therapists have a variety of specialties, and we see a wide range of clients, ages 10 and up.

Key Responsibilities

Provide supervision and clinical guidance to LPCA clinicians

Maintain 25 hours/week of availability for direct client care

Ensure clinical documentation meets ethical, legal, and organizational standards

Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff

Collaborate with leadership on clinical operations, compliance, and quality improvement

Serve as a point of contact for clinical emergencies and complex cases

Help foster a positive and supportive team culture

Required Qualifications

Active LPCS licensed in South Carolina or

LPCS candidate licensed in South Carolina (supervision available)

Minimum 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience

Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills

Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice

Preferred Qualifications

Credentialed with major insurance panels (e.g., BCBS, Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE)

Previous leadership or supervisory experience

Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare treatment and documentation standards

Strong understanding of SC State law and LLR regulations and standards
