Job description
Westchester Medical Center seeks a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist to review patient records for accuracy of diagnoses and procedures, ensuring compliant DRG assignment and proper reimbursement. You will work with physicians, nurses, coders and compliance staff to clarify documentation and improve chart quality.
Requirements include a healthcare degree and CDI-related credentials; familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 and MS-DRG concepts is preferred.
