Job description
Northwell Health seeks a Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Nurse to facilitate and obtain appropriate clinical documentation to support illness severity, mortality risk, and care complexity. You will conduct concurrent inpatient record reviews for Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payers and generate queries with physicians for clarification.
You will work with physicians on patient care units to clarify documentation, ensure accuracy, and follow up on CDI queries.
