Position Summary
Posting Note: Join our team as a Clinical Educator and play a critical role in welcoming, developing, and supporting the next generation of pediatric nurses.
This unique dual-role position will divide its focus between RN Residency instruction at our East Valley campus and clinical onboarding at our Thomas Main campus. As an East Valley Residency Instructor, you will guide newly licensed nurses through their transition to practice, delivering engaging, evidence-based education that builds clinical confidence, strengthens professional practice, and supports successful progression through the RN Residency Program.
At our Thomas Main campus, you will partner with our current onboarding specialist to support clinical onboarding and help create a strong first impression for nurses and other clinical team members joining Phoenix Children's. You will collaborate with educators, clinical leaders, and key partners to design, coordinate, and deliver onboarding experiences that prepare new hires for success and align with organizational priorities and clinical excellence standards.

This position develops, implements, and evaluates proactive educational plans and programs to address staff and departmental needs to ensure ongoing enhancement and improvement of staff skills, competencies and professional growth in accordance with established standards, requirements and regulations.
Position Duties
Collaborates with colleagues within the educational department to support the departmental strategic plan and ongoing institutional growth.
Collaborates with other disciplines and departments as a change agent and participates in the evaluation of outcomes.
Engages in ongoing organizational endeavors which support the philosophy and values of Phoenix Children's, nursing, model of care and professional development of staff.
Plans, implements, and evaluates learning opportunities based on evidence using a variety of teaching strategies.
Seeks and takes advantage of opportunities to enhance own professional growth and development.
Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
