nJob Summary
nAssists patients with chronic disease and disability with therapeutic exercise regimens. This may include aerobic conditioning, strength training, active and passive stretching exercise, and balance and ambulation. The position may also include clerical duties such as exercise data entry in patient records.
nResponsibilities
nAssists patients with chronic disease and disability with therapeutic exercise regimens. This may include aerobic conditioning, strength training, active and passive stretching exercise, and balance and ambulation. The position may also include clerical duties such as exercise data entry in patient records.
nStudents majoring in health related fields or persons with experience in rehabilitation services and exercise training preferred.
nCurrent Basic Life Support Card or completion of certification within one month of hire. Completion HIPAA certification during first week of employment
nMinimum Qualifications
nEQUIVALENCY STATEMENT : 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
nDepartment may hire employee at one of the following job levels:
nClinical Assistant, I: Requires little to no related experience.
nClinical Assistant, II: Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
nClinical Assistant, III : Requires 3+ years of related experience.
