Competitive Pay: $57.00 - $82.00/hour
K.A. Recruiting is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a full-time, permanent opportunity in the breathtaking Eastern Sierra region of California near June Lake. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit hospital laboratory while enjoying year-round outdoor recreation including skiing, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and boating.
Position Highlights Full-time, permanent direct hire
Varied shifts with participation in an on-call rotation
Competitive pay: $57.00 - $82.00/hour
PM and Night Shift Differential
Double-time pay for all call-back hours worked

Responsibilities Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing across all general laboratory departments
Analyze, interpret, and verify laboratory results accurately and efficiently
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation
Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures
Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and hospital policies
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
Participate in the laboratory's varied shift schedule and on-call rotation
Qualifications Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License required
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related scientific field
Previous hospital laboratory experience preferred
Generalist experience in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, and microbiology preferred
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
