Key Responsibilities
Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging and impactful group sessions designed to foster open dialogue among clients, encouraging them to share their experiences and learn from one another.
Individual Therapy: Conduct personalized therapy sessions that delve deeply into clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, developing tailored coping strategies and actionable plans.
Therapy Planning: Collaborate with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that are specifically crafted to align with their unique needs and preferences.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track client progress using various evaluation tools and feedback mechanisms, allowing for data-driven adjustments to treatment plans.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our services cater primarily to young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating mental health challenges. Through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), we aim to provide evidence-based, comprehensive treatment options to support them on their journey towards recovery. Our focus is on creating a safe environment where young individuals can thrive and acknowledge their value.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a master’s degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marital and family therapy.
Licensure: An active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory, verifying your eligibility to provide professional counseling services.
Experience: Proven experience in mental health treatment, particularly with clients facing mood disorders and mental health challenges, is essential.
Team Player: The ideal candidate will demonstrate a collaborative spirit and a shared passion for creating positive change within our community.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience working in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings.
Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy, enhancing the effectiveness of your interventions.
