Hands That Heal, Heart That CaresJoin our team as a Clinical Medical Assistant at Crusader!Position Summary:The Clinical Medical Assistant II performs various service duties and routine technical patient care tasks in accordance with agency policies and procedures and within the scope of education of a Medical Assistant. This position will work with a designated provider to support their panel and/or as a preceptor for externs and new employees. This position reports to the Medical Unit Manager or Site Manager.Education Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program Training programs in process of accreditation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basisGraduates of a non-accredited Medical Assisting Training Program will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must have one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a direct patient care settingCurrent CPR certificationActive Medical Assistant Certification through AAMA, NHA or AMTPrevious experience in ambulatory care, hospital, or public health preferredCrusader Community Health serves the Rock River Valley area with quality primary health care for all people in need.
