Medical Director (DVM) – Lafayette, CO
A veterinary practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian to provide high-quality urgent and general veterinary care while taking a leadership role within the practice. The position offers medical autonomy, opportunities to mentor other veterinarians, and the ability to help shape a positive and collaborative practice culture
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and urgent care services.
Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and communicate recommendations to clients.
Lead and support veterinary and support staff.
Promote a positive, collaborative practice culture.
Mentor other veterinarians and contribute to clinical development.
Help establish and maintain effective clinical workflows.
Maintain accurate medical records and comply with applicable veterinary standards.
Support the continued growth and development of the practice.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure.
Minimum of 5 years of veterinary experience preferred.
Current DEA license and USDA accreditation or ability to obtain.
Strong clinical and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
