Job description
This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.
Responsibilities
Deliver patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; engage in professional development.
Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families.
Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
Licenses & Certifications: RN license required.
Experience: No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
Key Duties
Provide comprehensive nursing care aligned with standards and patient needs.
Educate patients and families for effective illness management.
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance through active participation.
Collaborate with the healthcare team for coordinated care delivery.
