Job description
Role: Clinical Nurse in a specialized surgical unit focusing on GI and GU procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards.
Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participate in professional development.
Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients.
Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
