Job description
This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, caring for patients with conditions such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension. Responsibilities include assessing , planning , implementing , and evaluating individualized care plans, promoting patient and family-centered care, and educating on illness management and medication use. The role requires participation in activities that ensure patient safety , quality , and regulatory compliance . Staff collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate care plans across the continuum, using critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. The position is safety-sensitive, requiring constant alertness.
Qualifications:
Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing, RN license, no prior experience required.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
