Job description
This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote a healing environment by educating patients and families about care and recovery.
Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.
Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining alertness and safe work practices, as this is a safety-sensitive position.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Licenses: Active RN license required.
Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
