Job description
This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. The nurse develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients, considering psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. The position requires critical assessment skills and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care in a healing environment and educate patients and families on disease management and medication use.
Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in ongoing professional development.
Develop and communicate comprehensive care plans with clear goals, ensuring coordination across care continuum.
Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Licenses: Valid RN certification.
Experience: No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
