Job description
Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized inpatient unit focused on Orthopedic, Spine, Urological, and Plastic Surgery patients.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within standards of nursing practice.
Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.
Develop and document personalized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
Participate in activities that support patient safety, quality improvement, and professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 1 year RN experience; 2 years preferred.
Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
