Job description
Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care within a specialized orthopedic unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, educate patients and families, and promote safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities Include
Developing and modifying individualized care plans based on patient responses
Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of diverse patient populations
Participating in activities that enhance patient safety, regulatory compliance, and professional growth
Engaging in teamwork with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications And Skills
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with licensure within 90 days of employment
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
Experience or interest in orthopedic care is preferred
Bachelor's degree in nursing is advantageous
