Job description
Provides direct patient care in an orthopedic unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while contributing to professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring seamless communication across care settings.
Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, and spiritual factors.
Supports a safe environment, adhering to safety protocols, as this is a safety-sensitive role.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational requirement: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing.
Licensure: Valid RN license.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities; ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
