Job description
Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced critical care PACU setting, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care according to standards.
Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Utilizes critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
This safety-sensitive position requires alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree, RN license, no prior experience required.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 2+ years of experience, PHASE 1 PACU or critical care experience.
Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills essential.
Key Duties:
Assess and evaluate patient needs; develop and implement personalized care plans.
Educate patients and families on care management and post-discharge instructions.
Participate in activities promoting safety, quality, and professional development.
Contribute to a healing environment with a focus on patient safety and care excellence.
