Job description
This position provides immediate, 24/7 support for referring physicians by handling patient admissions, transport requests, consultations, appointment scheduling, and patient information requests. It involves a hybrid work model and requires a minimum of 2 years of pediatric ICU or ED nursing experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Promoting patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and home care needs.
Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, along with professional development.
Developing and documenting individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, and addressing barriers to involvement in care.
Qualifications:
RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
At least 2 years of pediatric ICU or ED nursing experience.
Strong computer and typing skills are preferred.
