Responsibilities in Your Role
Completing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or ongoing illnesses, working closely with physicians or independently based on your qualifications
Sharing knowledge with patients and families about prevention, wellness, and disease management
Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your practice scope
Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care coordination
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive, holistic patient care
Maintaining precise and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications Needed
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
