Job description
Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in a cardiothoracic/cardiology setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with collaborative input, communicating across care teams.
Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN license required.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
